Mary Beth Lake, REALTOR®, Associate Broker

Mary Beth Lake developed her keen organizational skills and serious work ethic while earning a degree in Industrial Design at Georgia Tech, but her real love is working with people. For Mary Beth, working in real estate has given her the chance to combine her structured approach with the very personal experience of helping clients find their dream homes. Mary Beth is a skilled negotiator with an eye for distilling clients' real estate wants and needs, and she will go the extra mile to make your home buying or selling experience the best one possible.

Mary Beth received her real estate license in 2004 and her Graduate, REALTORS® Institute designation and Broker’s license in 2008. She was honored with the President’s Award for Harry Norman, REALTORS® and the prestigious Atlanta REALTORS® Association Phoenix Award. Mary Beth works with several community organizations, including: Alpha Chi Omega, Georgia Tech Business Network, and the Walden of East Cobb Homeowner’s Association.

Mary Beth is married to her middle school sweetheart, Drew. They have two young sons who enjoy trips to the countryside, the beach, and Disney World.



Jeff Yeomans, REALTOR®

Jeff Yeomans is a vital part of the Mary Beth Lake & Associates team. He works with both buyers and sellers during each step of the process, ensuring that clients are successful in finding their dream home, negotiating a fair deal, and smoothing out details along the way. Jeff's market knowledge is essential to advising sellers when pricing his or her home for sale. His genuine care for others, can-do attitude, and approachability put clients at ease.

Jeff has been in the Real Estate Industry for over 10 years. He recently served as the President of the Atlanta REALTORS® Association Women's Council of REALTORS® and has completed the Harry Norman, REALTORS® Leadership Academy. He has previously worked as a loan officer with Homebanc, where he practiced lending standards and processes, as well as the restaurant industry, where he perfected his customer service skills.

Jeff is a graduate of the University of Georgia with an Economics degree. When Jeff is not working, he likes to spend time with his family at the lake, saltwater fishing, and watching the Dawgs play.



Sarah Alter, REALTOR®

Sarah is our newest team member and will be assisting with marketing, while also working with buyers and sellers throughout every step of the process, ensuring each client walks away from the closing table ready for their next chapter. Sarah identifies with the unique needs of each client, and brings an eagerness to satisfy those needs. Her ability to engage with each transaction from multiple perspectives, along with her insatiable desire for learning, makes her a great asset and advisor.

Sarah began her career in Real Estate from previously working in the Residential Property Management industry for over 7 years, deeply rooted in sales and customer service. With a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Kennesaw State University, she developed the desire to understand the customer experience and how to best service her clients. Sarah has always loved real estate and aspired to become an REALTOR® since her early college years. The combination of her love for connecting with others and creating value has culminated into the perfect match between her values and her career in real estate.

Sarah loves exploring new neighborhoods inside and outside of the city, going to concerts, and being anywhere outdoors.



Kayla Hesselbach, Closing Coordinator

Kayla Hesselbach is the "right arm" for Mary Beth Lake & Associates and acts as the liaison between all parties, working to ensure each transaction goes smoothly and closes successfully. She will be your "go to" person from the time of contract until closing. Kayla works closely with each of our buyers and sellers with accepted offers, making sure that paperwork is in order, inspections are completed, and information is delivered to the proper individuals. Kayla graduated from the University of North Georgia in 2015, and has been in the Real Estate Industry since 2013.

When Kayla is not working, she likes to spend time going to the movies, reading, and spending time with her fiancé and their sweet kitty, Banner.



Shea Zimmerman, Sr. Vice-President, Managing Broker

Shea Zimmerman has been in the Real Estate business for over 25 years, and her breadth of knowledge about the ins and outs of the industry is vital to the Mary Beth Lake & Associates team. Shea is a respected influence in the Atlanta community, and has served as the 2010 Atlanta REALTORS® Association President and Campaign Chairman for the REALTORS® for Johnny Isakson's Senate Race in 2003. Shea's vast network of connections keeps Mary Beth Lake & Associates "in the know" for the latest Atlanta real estate market trends and buzz.
